Weekly Construction Update – March 5, 2020

Construction activities for the upcoming week include:

  • Crews will continue prepping sidewalks and pouring concrete.
  • Crews will finish prepping the roundabout and continue pouring concrete for the roundabout, curbs, median, and truck apron.
  • Please watch for pedestrians crossing Brosterhous Road and Murphy Road.

Upcoming Project Milestones

  • May 2020: Brosterhous Road Roundabout construction complete.
  • Spring 2020-Fall 2020: Modernization Country Club Drive to Brosterhous Road.
  • Summer 2020-Summer 2021: Modernization of Murphy Road from Country Club Drive to Parrell Road / BNSF Railway Bridge Crossing / Extension to 15th Street.

Road Closures:

  • Northbound and southbound traffic on Brosterhous Road is closed at Murphy Road.
  • Brown Trout Place is closed to traffic at Murphy Road.
  • A temporary two-lane bypass road is open at the southwest corner of Brosterhous Road, connecting to Murphy Road to accommodate traffic around the construction area.
