February Update and Open House Reminder

Roundabout intersection upgrades at Brosterhous Road are underway. Construction will continue west throughout the spring and summer months.

During construction of the Brosterhous Road roundabout, the City will distribute weekly project updates.

Brosterhous Road Roundabout Preconstruction Open House

Meet the project and construction team and learn about project staging, traffic impacts and detours, construction timeline and activities, and how to stay informed during construction.

Utility and preliminary earthwork began in preparation for the Brosterhous Road roundabout on January 20. Intermittent flagging will continue Monday through Friday until the full closure of Brosterhous Road and Murphy Road on February 10, 2020.

Northbound and southbound traffic on Brosterhous Road will be closed at Murphy Road the week of February 10 (weather dependent). Local access to residences will be maintained on Brosterhous Road to Murphy Road.

SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC

The detour for southbound traffic begins at Brosterhous Road and American Lane. Southbound traffic approaching this intersection will encounter a ‘road closed, local access only’ sign.

NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC

The detour for northbound traffic along Brosterhous Road will include a temporary

bypass road, which will allow travelers to continue left onto Murphy Road.
