Project Update – January 9, 2020

Upcoming activities:

  • The second phase of the Murphy Corridor Improvements Project, the roundabout intersection upgrades at Brosterhous Road, will begin in mid-February, weather depending.
  • Crews will be doing preliminary earthwork in the Brosterhous Road and Murphy Road areas in January. Please be prepared for intermittent flagging Monday through Friday.
  • Construction will continue west throughout the spring and summer months. During construction, the City will distribute weekly project updates.

You may experience some traffic delays and inconveniences during construction; however, you will always have access to your property. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience.

Bend-LaPine School SE High School Construction:

Site work is underway on Bend-LaPine Schools’ newest high school in SE Bend. Please be aware of traffic detours along 15th Street associated with this project. For more information, please contact the City of Bend Private Development Engineering Department at engineering@bendoregon.gov.

  • Winter 2020-Summer 2021: Murphy Road Extension/BNSF Railway Bridge Crossing
