Weekly Construction Update Week of September 16th

The City and construction crews are doing everything possible to minimize impacts and inconveniences and appreciate your cooperation and patience during construction.

Construction activities for the upcoming week includes:

• Continued driver and pedestrian safety improvements at the intersection of 15^th Street and Ferguson Road. Please note minor lane configuration changes to the intersection.

• Construction of curbs at Chloe Lane and Ferguson Road.

• Work on the 15^th Street and Murphy Road roundabout includes concrete paving of the roundabout and construction of curbs and sidewalk.

• Continued installation of the water main in 15^th Street proceeding north in Chloe Lane.

   

UPCOMING TRAFFIC CHANGE

During the week of September 23^rd, 15^th Street drivers should prepare for traffic modifications. Drivers can expect a stop sign when entering the roundabout and that northbound traffic will merge into the southbound lane. In addition, a full road closure at Golden Gate Place will be in place through late October. 15^th Street will continue to be closed to southbound traffic at Ferguson Road with local access to Chloe Lane.

During construction, please expect the following:

• Temporary reduced speed of 25 MPH through the construction zone from Humber Lane to SE Westview Drive.

• Limited access on 15^th Street.

• Uneven pavement.

• Construction-related noise during the daytime.
