Weekly Construction Update Week of September 9th

Construction activities the week of September 2^nd include:

• Continued work on the 15^th Street roundabout, including the prep and construction of the island, sidewalk, and curb
• Installation of signposts
• 15^th Street sidewalk improvements continue, including the construction of the curb between Chloe Lane and Ferguson Road

• The water main will be installed in 15^th Street proceeding north in Chloe Lane
• Crews will begin excavating and improving the intersection of 15^th Street and Ferguson Road to improve driver and pedestrian safety. Please note minor lane configuration changes to the intersection

School is back in session. Be aware of an increase in vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic. Please slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Detour Information

15th Street remains closed to southbound traffic at Ferguson Road with local access to Chloe Lane. Northbound 15^th Street remains open with a temporary reduced speed of 25 MPH through the construction work zone, from Humber Lane to SE Westview Drive. 

Murphy Corridor Improvements Project activities include:

• The project team is proceeding with the design from 15^th Street to Brosterhous Road
• The alternatives analysis is complete for improvement project
