Weekly Construction Update Week of August 26th
Construction activities for the week of August 26th include:
- Continued roundabout excavation and subgrade work at 15th Street and Murphy Road
- Continued prepping of west 15th Street sidewalk and construction of sidewalk between Chloe Lane and Ferguson Road
- Construction of sidewalk and islands at Chloe Lane
- Storm pipes will be installed at 15th Street and Ferguson Road
- Installation of irrigation sleeves
15th Street is closed to southbound traffic at Ferguson Road with local access to Chloe Lane. Northbound 15th Street remains open with a temporary reduced speed of 25 MPH through the construction work zone, from Humber Lane to Ferguson Road.
Safety continues to be of prime importance as construction crews continue work in this corridor. We encourage motor vehicle traffic on neighborhood streets to drive at or below designated speed limits and be cautious of bicycle and construction/pedestrian/student traffic. Please slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
