June Project Update & Open House Information
Current Activities:
- Earthwork will continue intermittently in the project staging area west of 15th Street as imported material is available.
Upcoming Activities:
- Open House and Informational Meeting: Thursday, June 13, 2019, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (presentation at 6 p.m.) at Jewell Elementary Library, 20550 Murphy Road, Bend. The project team will share the results of the Alternatives Analysis Study, discuss the project in more detail, review the project schedule, and answer questions.
- August 2019: Open house prior to construction of the 15th Street roundabout and sidewalk extension.
- Mid August 2019: Construction of the 15th Street roundabout and sidewalk extension.
During peak construction season—typically April through October—the City sends out weekly road and traffic reports each Friday to help members of the community plan the quickest, safest and most reliable routes to their destinations.
