March Project Update

As a reminder, we invite you to join us for an open house to learn more about the Murphy Corridor Improvements Project on Thursday, March 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Jewell Elementary School Library. Address: 20550 Murphy Road, Bend, OR 97702

Current Activities:

• Survey and geotechnical work are underway along Murphy Road, between Parrell Road and 15^th Street. This work is expected to continue through June 2019.
• The project team is reviewing previous design efforts and evaluating improvement options available (Alternatives Analysis).
• Preliminary design work will continue through September 2019.

Upcoming Activities:

• July 2019: Open house at the conclusion of the Alternatives Analysis.

• Construction of the high school waterline loop and east extension grading is expected to begin April 2019.
• Construction of the 15^th Street roundabout and sidewalk is slated to begin in July 2019.
