Traffic on 14th Street is currently one way in the northerly direction between Simpson and Albany Avenue. The Southbound lane in this segment will be closed and is being detoured to 15th Street.
Northbound traffic has been returned to the east side of 14th Street.
Both lanes of 14th Street between Galveston and Newport will be open the weekend of Memorial Day.
The southbound lane will close again Tuesday, May 29th through the end of the following week for Cascade Natural Gas improvements and paving.
14th Street between Simpson and Commerce will be paved June 7th-8.th
A limited duration full closure of the Albany/14th intersection is scheduled to begin upon completion of the current phase of construction. Both directions of travel will be detoured to 15th Street between Baltimore and Knoll. More details to come next week.
