Ben Hemson, Business Advocate, City of Bend, recently sent out the following message to the community –

14^th Street Roundabout Reopens!

If you’ve spent any time driving around the West side of town in the past six weeks you’ve likely noticed delays due to the reconstruction of the roundabout at Simpson and 14^th and the reconstruction of the commercial corridor from the roundabout north to Albany Ave. Yesterday the roundabout reopened to traffic, ahead of schedule! Some detours remain along 14^th as road work continues, but If you’ve been holding off on visiting the area businesses now is a great time to show your support after six weeks of impacts.

• Traffic on 14th Street is currently one way in the northerly direction between Simpson Avenue and Albany Avenue. The southbound lane in this segment will be closed and is being detoured to 15th Street.
• Northbound traffic has been returned to the east side of 14th Street.
• The Simpson Avenue/14th Street roundabout re-opened last Monday. The roundabout is open to all traffic except the entering leg from southbound 14th Street.
