B-17 to visit Bend Airport

The Bend Experimental Aviation Association (EAA) chapter 1345 is hosting a visit from this B-17 on Tuesday, May 21. EAA is offering historic flight experiences in its beautifully restored B-17G Flying Fortress “Aluminum Overcast,” one of only 13 still flying.
Schedule at the Bend Airport:
Flight times – 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 6 p.m.
Pricing – pro-book: $409 for EAA members and $449 for non-members, walk up: $435 for EAA members and $475 for non-members
Ground tours – 2 to 5 p.m.
Pricing – $10 for adults or $20 per family. Active military, veterans and kids under 8 are free.
