Community Sponsorship & Grant Program Request Form

The City of Bend sets aside a budget every two years to support community events and programs that promote City priorities and enhance community engagement.

Submit a Community Sponsorship Application using the form below. Please reference the Sponsorship & Grant Program Awards and Use of City Funds Administrative Policy for details regarding the Community Sponsorship Program. Sponsorship Request

Are you applying as an organization, an individual, or as a fiscal sponsor on behalf of an organization/individual?(Required)

Sponsorship recipients may either be an organization registered with the Secretary of State with an assigned EIN, an individual utilizing their personal Social Security Number on a W-9, or a registered organization acting as a fiscal sponsor on behalf of a different entity or individual. Please note, individuals awarded a sponsorship will be issued a 1099 and the award may be taxable income under Federal IRS tax law. Does your organization have an EIN and Secretary of State registration?

In order to be eligible for payment from the City, organizations must have an EIN and be registered with the Secretary of State.

For whom are you acting as a Fiscal Sponsor?

Please indicate the entity or individual for which you will act as fiscal sponsor to receive a sponsorship award and manage the use of City funds.

Do you have a Fiscal Sponsor agreement in place?

If awarded a sponsorship, an agreement between the event or program host and the Fiscal Sponsor will be required before a sponsorship payment can be issued.

Organization Name

Organization name should match the name listed on the W-9 and Secretary of State Business Registry. If the organization is operating under a DBA (Doing Business As) name, please include the official entity name with the DBA name.

If your event will be hosted at the Tower Theatre, are you interested in being considered for a City Use Day sponsorship?

The City Use Day award waives the non-profit rental fee for the event ($1,300 value).

If this event or program will be held outdoors or in a City right of way, it may require a Special Event or Noise permit. Please refer to the City of Bend Special Event and Noise Variance permitting guidelines to determine whether your event requires a City of Bend permit.
