Weatherization for Income Qualified Households

Join us for an interactive workshop to learn what weatherization is, how it can lower energy bills and improve home comfort, and what programs are available for income‑qualified households in our community. Hear directly from local organizations about free and low‑cost weatherization and energy efficiency services, eligibility requirements, and how to apply. Our panel includes:
- Thomas Elzinga, Central Electric Cooperative (CEC)
- Jessica Taylor, NeighborImpact
- Satya Austin-Opper, The Environmental Center (TEC)
The workshop will take place in person at City Hall, with a hybrid option available via Zoom. In‑person attendance is encouraged, and free food will be provided. The event will include a panel discussion followed by plenty of time for audience Q&A. Renters, homeowners, and anyone curious about reducing energy costs are encouraged to attend.
