Jefferson Place Water Line Project Update

The Jefferson Place Water Main Replacement project is nearing completion.

The final phase of the water main installation has been completed, and all residents have been returned to permanent water service.

Crews will continue working on water meter boxes and other elements along with concrete work through Sept. 18. The final section of paving on NW Delaware Avenue, between NW Adams Avenue and the alley located between NW Jefferson Place and NW Shasta Place, is scheduled for Sept. 21. This date could change if paving contractors become available sooner.

Residents will receive door hanger notifications at least 24 hours before paving operations begin. Paving will require a full closure of Delaware Avenue, and on-street parking will not be permitted during construction activities.

The project remains on schedule for completion by the end of September, with all major construction activities expected to be finished during the week of Sept. 21.
