Find information on paying Bend Municipal Court fines and what to do if your case has been sent to collections.
Payments
The Bend Municipal Court accepts cash, checks, money orders, and credit or debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover). Checks and money orders must be made out to the City of Bend.
Important Payment Information
The Bend Municipal Court requires you to pay all fines, fees, and penalties within ninety (90) calendar days from the date the Judgment is issued. If you cannot pay the full amount within 90 days without causing serious financial hardship for you or your dependents, you may request a payment plan by submitting a Payment Plan Agreement. Download and complete the agreement and then submit it to Municipal Court staff:

Please read the Payment Plan Agreement carefully to understand all the details. After your payment plan agreement is approved, court staff will give you a copy that shows the amount you must pay each month.
Collections and Driver’s License Holds

Once your balance has been sent to collections, the Court can no longer accept your payment. The Court works with the following collection agency:

Driver’s License Holds
- If your driver’s license is suspended through the Bend Municipal Court, you may qualify for a payment plan that can remove this Court’s suspension from your license.
- When you call the collection agency, you must speak with an agent and ask about the payment plan that will release your license.
- After you make your down payment, the agency will notify this Court that the payment plan is in place and if appropriate the court will remove the hold on your driver’s license.
- It may take several days from the time you set up your payment plan until your license is reinstated.
- If you cannot afford the down payment or the monthly payments set by the collection agency, you may submit a Request for Special Collections Payment Plan to the Court.
