100 Years of Water — a summer to celebrate
New activities to learn about, explore and protect our water system
This summer, we’re turning up the celebration of Bend’s 100 Years of Exceptional Water Service — and inviting you to jump in.
Since 1926, City of Bend has delivered clean, clear, mountain water to the community.
As part of the anniversary celebration, community members have taken part in springtime activities to learn about, explore, and protect Bend’s unique water system. From discovering where our water comes from to taking simple steps at home to conserve it, your participation is helping keep Bend’s water strong for the next century.
Now, we’re excited to introduce a brand-new set of summer activities with even more ways to get involved and make a difference.
There’s something for everyone, whether you prefer to:
- Learn how Bend’s water system works behind the scenes
- Explore local watersheds, trails and facilities
- Protect our water through simple, meaningful actions
And just like before, every activity you complete gives you a chance to enter to win prizes, including water-saving devices, T-shirts and more.
Getting started is easy! Complete an activity, tell us what you did, and you’ll be entered into a drawing. Visit bendoregon.gov/celebrate-water to learn more and enter to win.
Together, let’s keep celebrating, learning and caring for Bend’s water — every step of the way.
