Accessible Parking Downtown
We want parking to be easy and accessible. If you have a valid ADA placard (issued by Oregon or another state), here’s what you need to know:
- If you park in a space designated for 30 minutes or less, you need to move your car within that time limit.
- In gated garages, you’ll still need to pay to exit.
- If you park in an ADA space labeled specifically for wheelchair access you need to have Wheelchair User placard.
- Safety rules still apply. Don’t park:
- In “No Parking” zones
- In front of fire hydrants
- On sidewalks or anywhere that blocks access
What curb colors mean
- Blue curbs: Accessible parking areas
- Yellow curbs: No parking
- Red curbs: No parking
Parking in restricted areas may result in a parking ticket or other enforcement action.
Free Street Parking
Street parking in downtown is free, however, time limits vary from 15 minutes, 2-hour, 3-hour, 4-hour, and all-day options.

Want to Stay Longer? Move Your Vehicle to a New Zone
This is the zone you are parked in.
Time limits apply to the parking zone—moving to another space in the same zone does not reset your time.
If you want to stay longer than the max time listed—in this case, two hours—then you must move your vehicle to a new zone.

Enforcement Hours
Parking is enforced 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, except on holidays.
Some parking rules are enforced at all times, including safety-related restrictions such as no-parking zones, loading zones, and other posted restrictions.

Important Exceptions
Holiday enforcement is based on the exact holiday date, not the observed day.
Parking is enforced on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve if they fall on a normal enforcement day.

Free parking is available at the Pavilion, where you can take a shuttle ride to and from the river for a fee.
