Home MenuParking Citations
Parking Citations, like parking tickets, or barnacles, or boots, are given when you park a vehicle in a way that violates City of Bend Parking Rules and Regulations.
THE PARKING SERVICES DIVISION DOES NOT MANAGE TOWED VEHICLES. If your vehicle has been towed, call Consolidated Towing Inc. at (541) 389-8080.
Parking Ticket Payment
You can pay your parking citation online, by mail or in person at the Parking Services Office, located in the Centennial Garage at 61 NW Oregon Avenue, Ste. 104, Bend, OR 97701
Parking fines in the City of Bend vary based on the violation type. If Overtime and Meter Violations are paid within 72 hours, a $13 discount is applied. For Overtime and Meter Violations not paid or appealed within 10 days a $20 late fee is applied.
All Parking Tickets not paid or appealed within 10 days of the date of issuance are considered delinquent and can no longer be appealed. A $15 late fee is applied to all Parking Citations that remain unpaid after 30 and 60 days.
A ticket with a $0.00 fine is a warning.
Citation Appeals
You can appeal your parking citation online or via a parking appeal form emailed to parkingappeals@bendoregon.gov. For each method you will need one of the following:
- Citation number
- License plate number
Parking Citation appeals are reviewed at an administrative hearing, and it can take up to 14 days to receive a response. Citation fines will not increase while a citation is in administrative appeal review. If you pay a ticket that is going through the appeal process, the appeal is automatically voided. You will be notified if your appeal is denied or accepted.
If your appeal is upheld, YOU WILL HAVE 10 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THE APPEAL DECISION TO FILE FOR A SECONDARY REVIEW WITH THE MUNICIPAL COURT by sending a parking appeal form indicating “secondary hearing” to Parking Services Office, located in the Centennial Garage at 61 NW Oregon Avenue, Ste. 104, Bend, OR 97701 or by email to parkingappeals@bendoregon.gov.
Paying a parking citation while it is going through the appeal process will automatically void the appeal. You will be notified if your appeal is upheld or dismissed.
