Weekly Road Report for the Week of June 8 – 14
2026 Street Preservation
Street preservation kicked off the week of June 1st with valve adjustments prior to asphalt restoration. Various Streets across the City will have this work occurring with lane & street closures during its duration (expect delays). Beginning June 8th, asphalt restoration will start and go through July 17th. Work will begin as night work and transition to daytime hours.

NW Wall Street
NW Wall Street at the intersection with NW Franklin Avenue will have geotechnical boring, shoulder work and parking area closure, June 11 – 12, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Delaware Avenue
Delaware Avenue between Jefferson Place and Shasta Place, at the intersection of the un-named alley, will have utility work in preparation of a water tie in, June 8 – 11. Early week work will have minor roadway encroachment, while Thursday’s activity will have a temporary closure for installation of a water main stub across Delaware and then across the alley (northside of Delaware). Crew will have plates on standby, for access of emergency vehicles in the event of an emergency.
NW Crossing Farmers Market (Special Event)
NW Crossing Farmers Market special event occurring every Saturday May 30 – September 26. Multiple road closures related to event (listed below).
- NW Crossing Drive between Mount Washington Drive and NW Crossing Drive (Circle).
- NW John Freemont between NW Ordiway Avenue and NW Fort Clatsop Street.
- NW Fort Clatsop Street between NW Ordway Avenue and NW John Freemont Street.
Franklin Ave Improvements City Project
Franklin Ave Improvements City Project – This initial work is focused on replacing aging water pipes from 1st Street to 4th Street. See impacts below:
- Night work scheduled from May 18 – June 12, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
- Beginning June 15th, work will transition to daytime work with lane reductions and flagging required to maintain traffic through the corridor, alternate routes should be taken to avoid delays
NE Lytle Street
NE Lytle Street between NE Revere Avenue and NE Quimby Avenue for a water main replacement, full road closure with limited access, May 15 – June 15, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
SE Wilson Avenue
SE Wilson Avenue between SE Centennial Street and SE 9th Street for rail, roadway, and sidewalk infrastructure installation, Full road closure with detour. Estimated closure from April 27th to Early July. We will provide updated dates when BNSF (the rail company) gets the city the schedule.
Windsor Drive
Windsor Drive between Brosterhous Road and Woodside Court for a sewer main installation (part of City Septic to Sewer Program), full road closure with local access only, April 27 – End of August.
SW Colorado Avenue
SW Colorado Avenue between NW Bond Street and NW Staats Street for utility work, single lane closure with lane shift, April 20 – June 19, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Fargo Lane
Fargo Lane between Perrigan Drive and Orion Drive for sewer installation work for the City’s King Hezekiah and Fargo Sewer Project.
- Fargo Lane between Perrigan Drive and Orion Drive will be closed with local and emergency access only, April 3 – June 30.
NE Bear Creek Road
NE Bear Creek Road between NE Purcell Boulevard and Dean Swift Road will have infrastructure installations, full road closure with detour, June 8 – July 10.
Ponderosa Street
Ponderosa Street between SW Atwood Avenue and Granite Drive will have roadway construction, full road closure with detour, June 5 – July 28.
Ferguson Road
Ferguson Road between Magnolia Drive and 27th Street will have infrastructure upgrades, single lane closure with eastbound traffic only, Feb. 2 – June 10.
Magnolia Lane
Magnolia Lane between Hearthstone Lane and Ferguson Road will have infrastructure improvements, full road closure with local access only, Oct. 6 (2025) – June 10.
Butler Market Corridor Improvements
This project will design and construct a new single lane roundabout at the intersection of Butler Market Road and Wells Acres Road, and pedestrian and bicycle improvements on Butler Market Road between Boyd Acres Road and Brinson Boulevard. Project is anticipated to occur from Sept. 22 – Late fall 2026. Roadway impacts listed below.

- Note: Butler Market Road between NE Brinson Boulevard and NE 8th Street will have a westbound lane closure with detour.
- Butler Market is open to eastbound traffic only between Broken Bow Drive and Brinson Boulevard.
- Beginning May 11th, Wells Acres will be closed at the intersection with Butler Market for 95 days. (Butler Market remains open to eastbound traffic.) Use Purcell Boulevard as an alternate route.
- Shepard Road will have intermittent closures at the intersection with Wells Acres. Detour signage will direct traffic to NE Canyon Park Dr.
NW Harriman Street
NW Harriman Street between NW Kearney Avenue and NW Greenwood Avenue for infrastructure work associated with the Deschutes County Courthouse, full road closure through June 26.
Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and other factors. Always exercise increased caution within construction zones. Drivers should use designated detour routes. Nearby residential streets are for local traffic only.
Any road closure not listed within this report, please submit a service request to notify the city of any potentially unpermitted work within City right of way. Please visit the Transportation and Mobility Department to submit.
