Public Contracts Subcommittee
The Public Contracts Subcommittee talks with City Departments about changes to the City’s procurement program and large contracts that need to be approved by the Council.
The Local Contract Review Board (LCRB) Subcommittee was renamed on March 11, 2025, and is now known as the Public Contracts Subcommittee.
Example discussion topics may include: Procurement policies and program changes, such as supplier diversity initiatives, supporting local workforce, and providing opportunities to priority populations; alternative project delivery planning, findings, and project completion reports; and competitive exemption processes for large contracts, such as cooperative contracts and sole source justifications.
