Mission:

• Southwest Bend Area Neighborhood Roundtable
  The City of Bend is hosting a neighborhood Roundtable on October 12 with the Bend City Council and three neighborhood districts in the southwest area of town to discuss growth, infrastructure projects, complete neighborhoods and other topics relevant to southwest Bend.
• Creating a District Organizing Committee
  The Century West Neighborhood District became inactive. In order to become active again, we have formulated a District Organizing Committee. This team is working to get formal approval from City Council on October 7th to move forward. Once approved, the District Organizing Committee must distribute a survey and hold an annual meeting within 6 months. We are starting from scratch and need to re-establish our communication approach. Please reach out to us if you’d like to volunteer to help.
• BPRD Deschutes River Trail South Study
  The project’s purpose is to complete one of the last remaining gaps on the Deschutes River Trail, which runs between Sunriver and Tumalo State Park, and to enhance non-motorized access to the Deschutes National Forest from Bend. Refer to the Bend Parks and Rec project page for status updates on this study.
