2024 Standards and Specifications Update Notice

The City of Bend has completed the 2024 Revisions to the City Standards and Specifications process. The initial comment period was open to the public from February 12 - March 15, 2024. The revisions to the Standards and Specifications will go into effect November 1, 2024 and will be officially adopted on November 20, 2024. 

The City of Bend Design Standards and Construction Specifications includes the design criteria and construction standards for all public infrastructures in the City of Bend and apply to both City Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and to private development projects.

City Council approved and held their First Reading of the revisions (listed below) on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Note: The Tree Code revisions and BDC 3.2.400, Street Trees to BDC 3.2.400, Street Trees and Planter Strip Landscaping are in effect beginning August 16, 2024.
