Columbia Roundabout Improvements Project Update – julio 8, 2021

LA SEGURIDAD ES LO PRIMERO

The concrete that is being poured over the next week has a specific cure time to provide an optimal life expectancy. Pedestrians should follow all designated routes around the newly formed curbs. With the hot weather, the exterior of the concrete may appear dry but could still be curing beneath the surface.

Crews are scheduled to work on Sábado, julio 10, during normal work hours to complete the project as soon as possible.

ACTUALIZACIÓN SOBRE LAS OBRAS

Obras previstas en la avenida Simpson y la calle Columbia

Week of julio 7 – julio 14

• A curb forming machine is used to form the new concrete curbs and gutters. Crews then shape and finish the ADA ramp and bike ramp access locations.
• Se está construyendo la plataforma para camiones de la rotonda, lo que define la circunferencia interior de la calzada de la rotonda.
• The final utility installation is being completed in preparation for the roundabout concrete surface.
