Construction Activity Continues on NE Purcell Boulevard

The Empire Corridor Improvements project is entering its final stage, with construction scheduled to continue through Septiembre 2021. This construction will include:

  • Utility locations on NE Purcell Boulevard. Expect intermittent lane closures and delays (Febrero – Abril 30th). Expect single-lane closures during this time and use alternate routes when possible to avoid delays.
  • New roundabout at the NE Purcell Boulevard & NE Butler Market Road intersection (Mayo 33.º – Septiembre).
    • There will be a full closure of the intersection during this time.
  • Modernization of NE Purcell Boulevard between NE Butler Market Road and the NUID canal (Mayo 3rd – Septiembre). This section of roadway will be open to local traffic only.
