PRÓXIMAS OBRAS PREVISTAS

• Crews continue to excavate and install sewer pipe and maintenance holes east along Ferguson Road.
• Excavation and maintenance hole installation is also occurring at the Camden Park pump station site. There are no impacts to traffic as this excavation is outside the road limits.
• Bypass pumping in the Ridgewater neighborhood is expected to begin on Martes, Mayo 23. The purpose of this is so that we can decommission the existing Ridgewater II Pump Station without interruption to residents’ sewer service. Access will be maintained. Information was sent to residents of the Ridgewater neighborhood via email through the HOA as well as a notification sent via USPS by the City. Bypass pumping is anticipated to last 1-2 weeks.
• The Ridgewater II pump station will be “decommissioned,” meaning that it will be taken out of service and removed. The sewer will be connected to the newly installed gravity main in Ferguson.
• The sidewalk is temporarily closed in front of the Ridgewater II pump station (on the south side of Ferguson between Sage Creek Dr. and Ladera Rd.) due to the open trench. Please use the roadway or sidewalk detour (see map below).
• Homes along Ferguson between King Solomon Ln and the Ridgewater II pump station currently served by the existing Force Main sewer will be re-connected to the gravity main in the next couple of weeks. The contractor will attempt to contact you before the turnover occurs to ask that you refrain from using your plumbing for a few minutes while they transition your sewer connection. If they are unable to reach you, they will still be able to proceed with the work. There is no action needed from you, and the service interruption should only take a few minutes. QUÉ PUEDE ESPERAR DURANTE LAS OBRAS

• Durante las obras se producirán ruidos, polvo y vibraciones.
• Tenga en cuenta los posibles retrasos por el tráfico y prevea más tiempo al planificar su trayecto. Conduzca despacio al pasar por la zona de obras.
• Aunque hacemos todo lo posible por mantener los servicios durante las obras,es posible quese produzca una interrupción temporal debido a un imprevisto. Si, por ejemplo, se produce una interrupción del servicio de Internet, le ruego que me lo comunique directamente para que podamos asegurarnos de que se solucione.
• Las paradas de autobús escolar situadas a lo largo de Ferguson Road seguirán en su sitio. Los usuarios del autobús podrán acceder a ellas para esperar y subir al autobús. Habrá un señalizador en el lugar para ayudar en caso necesario.
• A quienes se les recoge la basura en Ferguson Road, les rogamos que saquen los contenedores al borde de la acera el mismo día de la recogida o el día anterior. Si al finalizar la jornada de trabajo el servicio de recogida no puede acceder a ellos, la empresa contratada los trasladará hasta el borde de la zona de obras.
• Para quienes reciben correo en la calle Ferguson Road, la empresa contratista trasladará temporalmente su buzón si las obras impiden el acceso al mismo. Los buzones que se trasladen volverán a colocarse en su ubicación original una vez finalizadas las obras.

CONTROL DE TRÁFICO 

Ferguson Road currently remains closed to ALL eastbound traffic from approximately the COID canal bridge to Sarah Drive. Sarah Drive will remain open. Note that Ladera Road will be closed and should be accessed through Sarah Drive on the north side and Cottonwood Drive on the south side. The sidewalk is temporarily closed in front of the Ridgewater II pump station (on the south side of Ferguson between Sage Creek Dr. and Ladera Rd.) due to the open trench. The closure and detour maps are shown below.

Local access to side streets and driveways off Ferguson Road, which do not have a secondary access point, will be maintained during construction, but the access will still be from the westbound traffic direction. ALL traffic within the bounds of the closure is flowing westbound. You may experience minor delays when driving through the construction zone. Please reduce speeds and proceed with caution when driving in the construction zone. We appreciate your ongoing patience. Below is a photo of the excavation across Ferguson Road into the Ridgewater II pump station. The pump station will be taken out of service and removed in the next couple of weeks and replaced with a new gravity sewer that ties into the Ferguson Road gravity sewer.
