Actualización sobre el proyecto de mejora del corredor Murphy – 24 de mayo de 2021

Gracias por su interés en el proyecto de mejora del corredor Murphy.

The modernization work of Murphy Road between Country Club Drive and Parrell Road is three months ahead of schedule and set to open the evening of Viernes, Mayo 28. All closures are expected to be removed at that time, and both westbound and eastbound travel lanes will open to vehicular traffic. Intermittent flagging (however, no lane closures) should be expected as landscape work continues into junio.

Thanks to all who helped make this a successful phase of the Murphy project and those impacted by traffic detours and construction over the past several months.

Construction Activities – Week of Mayo 24

• Crews will complete the paving and striping of Murphy Road. One-way traffic will be maintained, east to west, on Murphy Road from Country Club Drive. Please do not attempt to access Murphy from Parrell or other side streets as it is currently closed and will be fully closed to two-way traffic. Crews will pave and stripe one-half of Murphy Road at a time. The order includes:
  1. The north half of Murphy Road
  2. The south half of Murphy Road
  3. Side streets and driveways
  4. Final lift paving and striping north, south, then side streets

• Las obras de paisajismo y riego continuarán.
• Crews will continue backfilling sidewalks and curbs.
• Preparation work continues in advance of erecting girders for the BNSF Railway bridge overcrossing in junio.

Información sobre el tráfico

Se mantendrá el tráfico en un solo sentido, de este a oeste, en Murphy Road desde Country Club Drive hasta que finalicen los trabajos de pavimentación y señalización. Se ruega no intentar acceder a Murphy desde Parrell ni desde otras calles laterales, ya que actualmente está cerrada y se cerrará por completo al tráfico en ambos sentidos.

Por favor, tenga cuidado y preste atención a los señalizadores y a los trabajadores de la obra.
