Actualización sobre el proyecto de mejora del corredor Murphy – 13 de noviembre de 2020

Thank you for your interest in the Murphy Corridor Improvements Project. Construction of a new single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Murphy Road and Country Club Drive is currently underway. Construction of this phase of the project is planned to be completed in noviembre 2020.

Construction of the BNSF Bridge Crossing is also underway. The bridge crossing is part of the new two-lane roadway between Brosterhous Road and 15^th Street, which will reduce delays between east and west Bend. The BNSF Bridge Crossing and Murphy Road Extension is expected to be completed in Agosto 2021.

As part of the next phase of the Murphy Corridor Improvements Project, construction of a three-lane roadway with a left turn lane, a protected pedestrian crossing, shared-use paths, bike lanes, sidewalks, street lighting, and landscaping improvements are planned on Murphy Road between Country Club Drive and Parrell Road. This work is scheduled to occur from noviembre 23, 2020, through Summer 2021.

Current Road Closure 

During construction of the Country Club roundabout, the Murphy Road/Country Club Drive intersection will be closed. A temporary two-way bypass road will connect Country Club Drive (south) to Murphy Road (east). Please follow detour routes and drive with caution in detour areas.

Upcoming Road Closure

Modernization Between Country Club Drive and Parrell Road, noviembre 23, 2020-Summer 2021 (Weather Dependent) 

As part of the next phase of the Murphy Corridor Improvements Project, construction of a three-lane roadway with a left turn lane, a protected pedestrian crossing, shared-use paths, bike lanes, sidewalks, street lighting, and landscaping improvements are planned on Murphy Road between Country Club Drive and Parrell Road.

Durante esta fase del proyecto, secerrará completamente Murphy Road entre Country Club Drive y Parrell Road. Se mantendrá en todo momento el acceso local a las viviendas y el tráfico de emergencia.

Una vez finalizadas, las mejoras contribuirán a que Murphy Road sea más segura y agradable para todos.

DESVÍO HACIA EL OESTE: TomeMurphy Road hasta Country Club Drive. Gire a la derecha en Knott Road. Gire a la derecha en China Hat Road. Gire a la derecha en Parrell Road.

EASTBOUND DETOUR: Take Murphy Road to Parrell Road. Continue on Parrell Road. Turn right on Brosterhous Road and follow to stop sign. Turn right on Brosterhous Road and follow through Brosterhous Roundabout to Murphy Road.
