Included in this project are several safety features, including the construction of sidewalks along the length of Newport Avenue between 9th Street and College Way. In some cases, this involves replacing old deteriorated segments and, in other instances installing sidewalks where none exist today.

  • Nashville Ave is closed from Newport Ave to Pageant Park
  • Stormwater planter installation begins.
  • Franchise utility relocations are nearing completion.
  • Installation and testing of water mainline on Nashville and Newport continues.
  • Sewer bypass pumping begins supporting the sewer replacement project along Newport Avenue near the roundabout at 9th Street.

Notas generales del proyecto

  • Se han instalado badenes temporales a lo largo de la avenida NW Ogden, entre la calle NW7 y la calle NW11. Por favor, respete las calles del barrio y a los residentes utilizando los desvíos señalizados.
  • Por favor, no entre en la zona de obras antes, durante ni después del horario de trabajo.
  • Daytime work hours are in effect from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
  • A continuación se indican las zonas de obras.
  • Se mantendrá el acceso a todos los comercios de la zona situados a lo largo del corredor de obras. Se seguirán instalando nuevos carteles que indiquen que los comercios están abiertos.
  • Access to businesses between 9th Street and 11th Street can be found using rear alley and rear parking areas.
