Actualización sobre el proyecto de la línea de alcantarillado del interceptor norte – 8 de abril de 2021

Gracias por su interés en el proyecto de la línea de alcantarillado «North Interceptor». La línea de alcantarillado «North Interceptor» es una red de transporte de aguas residuales de gran diámetro que permite al Ayuntamiento clausurar estaciones de bombeo y aumentar la capacidad del alcantarillado, como parte del Plan de Crecimiento respaldado por la comunidad.

El proyecto se divide en tres fases distintas:

Fase I:Completada 

Fase II:junio de 2020 – primavera de 2022, tramo de Pioneer Loop a través de Juniper Ridge hasta Clausen Road, justo al oeste de la autopista 97.

Fase III:Por determinar, desde Clausen Road hasta O.B. Riley Road.

Fase I

La fase I se completó según lo previsto en diciembre de 2020.

Fase II – Tramo 1(Pioneer Loop y Margaret Lane)

Paving on Deschutes Market Road is scheduled for Abril 15 between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. This paving will include approximately 175 feet of new asphalt just north of Margaret Lane. During this work, flaggers will be present to maintain one-way traffic on Deschutes Market. 

Paving of the south-easterly corner of Pioneer Loop is scheduled for Abril 16. During this work, flaggers will be present to maintain one-way traffic on Pioneer Loop.

Phase II – Segment 2 (City-Owned Juniper Ridge Property)

This area remains closed to all unauthorized personnel until the completion of construction. Drilling and blasting operations continue ahead of the open-trench pipe installation for the 8,845-foot segment through the Juniper Ridge Property towards the BNSF trenchless crossing. Restoration of the work area will begin in the Juniper Ridge Property west of the Central Oregon Irrigation District pipeline after connecting to the BNSR trenchless crossing.

Phase II Segment 2 Sewer Alignment

Phase II – Segment 3 (BNSF Railroad, Adjacent to and Across HWY 97 to Clausen Road) 

The boring efforts for the trenchless crossing under OR 97 are underway and will be completed this month, including the installation of sewer pipe and backfill of the launch and receiving shafts. Sanitary sewer maintenance holes will be installed west of OR 97. Advanced notification will be provided to the public of rock-breaking efforts taking place along the eastern edge of OR 97, which is anticipated to begin in early Mayo. Parking will be restricted along Clausen Road from Grandview Drive to the construction site. Work will continue through the fall of 2021.
