• Midtown Crossing Project – The Greenwood Avenue quick build portion of this project between NW Bond Street and NE 3^rd Street will be completed with a full redesign of this street section. Both Day & Night work is proposed for the duration of the project, with expected workdays listed below. Night work hours will be 7 p.m. – 6 a.m. The project timeline is from julio 29 – Agosto 12.   • 8/5 Full 24-hour closure Greenwood between Wall and 2. NB/SB Bond and Wall remain open (Closure begins at 7 a.m.)
  • 8/6 Full 24-hour closure Greenwood between Wall and 2. NB/SB Bond and Wall remain open (closure ends 6 a.m., Agosto 7)
  • 8/12 Night full closure Greenwood between Wall and 2. NB/SB Bond remain open
  • 8/13 Night full closure Greenwood between Wall and 2. NB/SB Bond remain open
• Cooley Road between Highway 97 and NE Hunnel Road for a telecommunications line work, nighttime eastbound lane closure with detour, Agosto 5 – 6, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
• 2024 Old Bend Criterium – This is a bike racing event taking place Sábado, Agosto 10 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Various Road closures in Downtown Bend with detour:
  • Oregon Avenue between Wall Street and Bond Street.
  • Wall Street between Franklin Avenue and Greenwood Avenue.
  • Bond Street between Franklin Avenue and Oregon Avenue.
  • Minnesota Avenue between Wall Street and Lava Road.
  • Franklin Avenue between Wall Street and Lava Road.
  • Lava Road between Franklin Avenue and Minnesota Avenue.
• Colorado Avenue between NW Sizemore Street and NW Lava Road for paving, single lane closure with lane shift (expect delays), Agosto 5, 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• SE 15th Street between Knott Road and SE Caldera Drive will have frontage improvements, single lane closure with flagging, Agosto 5 – 23
• Intersection of NW 14th Street and NW Ithica Avenue will have pavement restoration work associated with a previous natural gas project, lane closures with flagging, Agosto 8 – 9.
• Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project, Phase 2 – This project will provide water distribution system upgrades to the Awbrey Butte area with eight interrelated water improvement subprojects. For more information, visit the Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project website.
  • Saginaw Avenue: College Way to West Hills: One-Way (Eastbound) Local access. Westbound traffic to access College Way via Portland Avenue
  • Saginaw Ave: West Hills to Juniper: Closed to through traffic for storm drain system construction and waterline installation. Detour to use Quincy Avenue and Juniper Street with flaggers at Quincy and Juniper for local traffic.
  • Juniper St: Saginaw to Trenton: Local access only for installation of water line.
  • Trenton Ave and 12th St:  Self-regulating single lane closure on for franchise utility (GAS) work

Ongoing Closures:

• Preservación de calles – Various higher order Streets within Bend will have repaving completed. Valve adjustments will begin this week.  The work will primarily take place during nighttime hours.   • Reed Market Road between Brookswood Boulevard and Highway 97 (parkway), full nighttime closures, Agosto 12 – 21
  • Deschutes Market between NE Butler Market Road and NE Yeoman Road, full closure, Agosto 5 – 12
  • NE Bear Creek Road between NE Franklin Avenue and NE 15th Street, full nighttime closures, Agosto 27 – Septiembre 4
  • NE Division Street between NE Revere Avenue and NE 3rd Street, full nighttime closures, Septiembre 10 – 17
• Century Drive between SW Donovan Avenue and SW Taylor Court for curb and paving installations, single lane closure with flagging, julio 25 – Agosto 9, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• NE Quimby Avenue between NE 5th street and NE 7th street will have a water main replacement, full road closure with local access only, julio 8 – mid Septiembre.
• SW Simpson Avenue between NW MT Washington Drive and NW Century Drive will have a water main installation, full eastbound lane closure with detour, julio 8 – Agosto 7.
• Parrell Road between Badger Road and Silver Sage Street will continue infrastructure improvements, southbound lane closure with detour (northbound will remain open), began julio 1.
• NE Butler Market Road between Eagle Road and Clyde Lane for frontage improvements, westbound lane closure with detour, junio 24 – Agosto 19
• 2024 Criterion Race Series – This special event is a four-week race event occurring every Miércoles from julio 3 – julio 24, 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The event will close a few NW City streets (listed below). A detour will be in place for the event. 
  • NW Crosby Drive between NW Elwood Lane and NW Crossing Drive
  • NW Crossing Drive between NW Crosby Drive and NW Lolo Drive
  • NW Elwood Lane between NW Crosby Drive and NW Lolo Drive
  • NW Lolo Drive between NW Elwood Lane and NW Crossing Drive
• NE Penn Avenue between NE Lytle Street and NE 1st Street for a water distribution improvement project, full road closure with local access only, junio 11 – julio 12.
• NW Crossing Farmers Market – special event occurring every Sábado junio 1st – Octubre 12th. Multiple road closures related to event (listed below).
  • NW Crossing Drive between Mount Washington Drive and NW Crossing Drive (Circle)
  • NW John Freemont between NW Ordiway Avenue and NW Fort Clatsop Street
  • NW Fort Clatsop Street between NW Ordway Avenue and NW John Freemont Street
• Silver Sage Sewer Project – The yearly project includes installing gravity sewer mains and sewer laterals to allow properties to decommission their septic systems and connect to the public sewer system. Tentatively starting on Mayo 6, 2024: Silver Sage Street; Benham Road between Murphy Road and Rae Road; Concho Street; Loy Lane; and the North-end of Tapadera Street will be closed with tentative plans for reopening in mid-Octubre 2024. • SW 18th Street between SW Simpson Avenue and SW Forest Ridge Avenue for infrastructure improvements, full road closure with detour, began Marzo 25
• Bend North Corridor, ODOT Project – Infrastructure improvements along Highway 97 from Empire Avenue to Grandview Drive. Highway 97 will also be realigned to allow free flowing movement. Various types of traffic control will be implemented during construction. Expect additional delays throughout this segment of the corridor. Expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
  • Empire onramp northbound will be redirected toward the newly built highway 97 and connects to the new highway 97 alignment
  • Southbound highway 97 will be transitioned to the new alignment, to open the SB lanes of the new US97 alignment julio 26th
•  Cooley Road between Highway 20 and Hunnel Road for infrastructure and roadway improvements, full road closure with detour, began Diciembre 26.
