For the Week of Abril 20 – 28:

• Eagle Road between NE Wells Acres Road and Beall Drive for curb installation, single lane closure with flagging, Abril 22.

• Parrell Road between Hawes Lane and Grand Targhee Drive for frontage improvements, single lane closure with flagging, Abril 22.

• Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project, Phase 1 – This project will provide water distribution system upgrades to the Awbrey Butte area with eight interrelated water improvement subprojects. For more information, visit the Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project website.
  • NW Ninth Street: Newport Avenue to Trenton Avenue: Intermittent single lane closure with flaggers on Ninth Street for repaving.
  • Shevlin Park Road (NW Crossing Drive to Mount Washington Drive): Eastbound Lane closure on Shevlin Park Road between Northwest Crossing Drive and Mount Washington Drive. Detour for eastbound traffic will be Mount Washington Drive, Skyliners Road, Lemhi Pass Drive, and Northwest Crossing Drive. Westbound detour into eastbound lane for one day under flaggers.
  • College Way and Saginaw Avenue: Closed Abril 27 through Mayo 13. College Way detour to utilize Regency Street, Mount Washington Drive, and Shevlin Park Road. Local Saginaw traffic to detour using Quincy Avenue, NW 11th Street, and Portland Avenue.

• 2024 Earth Day Parade – This celebration of earth day will include a parade through various downtown streets (listed below). Event to take place Abril 20.
  • Kansas Avenue between NW Bond Street and NW Lava Road
  • NW Bond Street between NW Kansas Avenue and NW Minnesota Avenue
  • NW Minnesota Avenue between NW Bond Street and NW Wall Street
  • NW Wall Street between NW Minnesota Avenue and NW Louisiana Avenue
  • NW Louisiana Avenue between NW Wall Street and NW Bond Street

• 2024 Salmon Run – This special event includes a 5K, 10K, and half marathon. The event will mainly use City sidewalks and Bend Park and Recreation District trails, crossing a higher-classification street with certified flaggers (streets listed below). Event to take place Abril 20.
  • NW Galveston Avenue between NW Harmon Boulevard and NW Riverfront Street

Ongoing Closures:

• Knott Road between SE 15th Street and Raintree Court for a watermain relocation, single lane closure with flagging, began Abril 8.

• Parrell Road between Badger Road and Rae Road for a sewer main installation, full road closure with detour, Abril 8 – Mayo 17.

• Brosterhous Road between Kobe Street and Frankie Lane will have a sewer main installation, full road closure with detour, began Abril 15.

• Brosterhous Road between Button Brush and songbird lane for frontage improvements, single lane closures with flagging and possible lane shifts, began Abril 3.

• Eagle Road between Butler Market Road and NE Flagstone Avenue for roadway improvements, full day road closure with detour, Abril 8 – 26.

• West Campbell Road between Swarens Avenue and Kemple Drive for a sewer main installation, full road closure with local access only, Abril 1 – Mayo 3.

• Pinehaven/Woodhaven Sewer Project (Neighborhood Street Safety Program) – The yearly project includes installing gravity sewer mains and sewer laterals in order to allow properties to decommission their septic systems and connect to the public sewer system. Full road closures with local access along the full length Pinehaven and Woodhaven Avenues. Project began Marzo 11. For more information, visit the Pinehaven and Woodhaven Sewer Project webpage.

• SW 18th Street between SW Simpson Avenue and SW Forest Ridge Avenue for infrastructure improvements, full road closure with detour, began Marzo 25.

• Jamison Street between Empire Avenue and Poe Scholes Drive for a gas main relocation, full road closure with detour, began Marzo 25.

• Bend North Corridor, ODOT Project – Infrastructure improvements along Highway 97 from Empire Avenue to Grandview Drive. Highway 97 will also be realigned to allow free flowing movement. Various types of traffic control will be implemented during construction. Expect additional delays throughout this segment of the corridor. Expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
  • Empire onramp northbound will be redirected toward the newly built highway 97 and connected to the existing Highway 97 at Robal Road, began Abril 8.
  • Highway 97 will be closed for 15 minutes for blasting activities between 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. on Sundays.

• Cooley Road between Highway 20 and Hunnel Road for infrastructure and roadway improvements, full road closure with detour, began Diciembre 26.

• Wilson Corridor Improvements Project – Street improvements on Wilson Avenue from Second Street to 15th Street. For more information visit the Wilson Project website. This is a multiphase project with various intersections and road closures throughout its entirety.
  • Wilson Avenue between SE Second Street and SE Third Street has a westbound closure with detour.
  • Wilson Avenue between SE Third street and SE Fourth street has a full road closure with detour.
  • Beginning Febrero 8, there will be no left turn lanes in any direction at this intersection.
  • Third Street traffic will be shifted to one lane between SE Railroad Street SE Taft Avenue. Please note, blue cones are directing business access.
