Weekly Road and Traffic Report for the Week of Diciembre 16 – 22
For the Week of Diciembre 16 – 22:
- Brosterhous Road between Rolen Avenue and Frankie Lane will have an infrastructure installation, full road closure with detour, Dec. 11 – 20.
- Archie Briggs Road between Tourmaline Lane and NW Lower Village Road for utility tree trimming, moving single lane closure with flagging, Dec. 16, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- OB Riley Road between Highway 20 and NW Brownrigg Lane for utility tree trimming, moving single lane closure with flagging, Dec. 19, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- NE 27th Street between NE Rosemary Drive and NE Aldrich Avenue for utility tree trimming, moving single lane closure with flagging, Dec. 19, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project, Phase 2 – This project will provide water distribution system upgrades to the Awbrey Butte area with eight interrelated water improvement subprojects. For more information, visit the Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project website.
- Portland Avenue from Ninth Street to First Street: Full road closure and local access only lasting through winter. Detour to use Ninth Street to Newport Avenue to Wall Street. Portland Avenue closure to remain in place from Dec. 23- Jan. 3 during contractor’s holiday (no work being performed). Contractor will maintain traffic control.
- Midtown Crossing Project (Second Street work) – A multiphase project that will replace the water main from Greenwood Avenue to Franklin Avenue in preparation for the full reconstruction occurring next spring. Phase 2 – 4 occurs from Oct. 21 – Spring 2025. Northbound lane closure with local access will occur in its entirety. Current road section work listed below. - Second Street between NE Irving Avenue and NE Greeley Avenue.
- NW Harriman Street between NW Kearney Avenue and NW Greenwood Avenue for infrastructure work associated with the Deschutes County Courthouse, full road closure, began julio 24.
