Weekly Road and Traffic Report for the Week of Enero 29– Febrero 4
For the Week of Enero 29– Febrero 4:
- Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project, Phase 1 – This project will provide water distribution system upgrades to the Awbrey Butte area with eight interrelated water improvement subprojects. For more information, visit the Awbrey Butte Waterline Improvements Project website.
- NW Ninth Street (Roanoke Avenue to Trenton Avenue): Intermittent full road closure for trench patching over previously installed water main. Detour will be on 10th Street and Roanoke Avenue.
- Portland Avenue (Awbrey Road to Wall Street): Full road closure with a detour on Awbrey Road, Newport Avenue, and Wall Street. Local access will be maintained for any properties with driveway access within the closure limits.
- Shevlin Park Road (NW Crossing Drive to Mt. Washington Drive): The westbound travel lane of Shevlin Park Road will be closed for sewer main installation. The detour route for westbound traffic is NW Crossing Drive (southbound), Lemhi Pass Drive (southbound), Skyliners Road (westbound), and Mt. Washington Drive (northbound).
Ongoing Closures:
- NW Shevlin Park Road between NW Crossing Drive and NW College Way for a gas main installation, single lane closure with lane shifts, began Dec. 26.
- Cooley Road between Highway 20 and Hunnel Road for infrastructure and roadway improvements, full road closure with detour, begins Dec. 26.
- Wilson Corridor Improvements Project – Street improvements on Wilson Avenue from Second Street to 15th Street. For more information visit the Wilson Project website. This is a multiphase project with various intersections and road closures throughout its entirety.
- Wilson Avenue between SE Second Street and SE Third Street has a westbound closure with detour.
- Wilson Avenue between SE Third Street and SE Fourth street has a full road closure with detour.
- Third Street traffic will be shifted to one lane between SE Railroad Street SE Taft Avenue. Please note, blue cones are directing business access.
- Neff and Purcell Improvement Project – The Neff Road and Purcell Boulevard Improvements Project is a high priority project providing both north-south connectivity and improving safety and capacity in a vital area of Bend. - NE Purcell Boulevard between NE Full Moon Drive to the end of street, full road closure with detour
