The Neff Road and Purcell Boulevard Improvements Project is a high priority project providing north-south connectivity and improving safety and capacity for all users in a vital area of Bend.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATES – Febrero 16 through Febrero 22

Ampliación de Purcell

Cruce de Neff y Purcell

Beginning on Miércoles, Febrero 22, 2023, the Neff and Purcell intersection will be closed and a traffic control detour will be implemented.(See the above detour map). Franchise utilities will begin utility relocation work in the construction area. 

  • HOSPITAL ACCESS
    Access to St. Charles Bend Hospital Campus is shown on map below.

  • TEMPORARY PEDESTRIAN ACCESS ROUTE
    A pedestrian detour route will be established for the duration of the project and may change with each phase of construction. This detour will allow pedestrians to safely navigate around the intersection’s construction zone and continue to access their desired locations. Bicyclists may utilize the detour by following existing traffic laws for bicyclists using pedestrian facilities. 

  • CASCADES EAST TRANSIT
    Public transportation via Cascade East Transit will have route adjustments and stop closures. Details can be found at cascadeseasttransit.com

  • PILOT BUTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL
    Pilot Butte Middle School families will receive communication about student drop-off and pick-up, etc. directly from the school. Information will also be available on the school website bend.k12.or.us/pilotbutte.
