The Sounding Board to House our Neighbors is no longer active
The Sounding Board to House our Neighbors was a City Manager appointed committee that met Abril-Diciembre, 2021, and helped staff develop a strategy to allow varying types of shelter and transitional housing Citywide. This is one of the comprehensive strategies the City is working on to support our community members experiencing houselessness.

Planning Commission Review Tentative Schedule: Work Session Enero 24, 2022, Public Hearing Febrero 14, 2022. Check the Planning Commission website link for updated time/date information closer to Enero.
The Sounding Board included representatives of the City Council, Planning Commission, Homeless Leadership Coalition, Neighborhood Leadership Alliance, Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, Homeless Services Providers, and the Bend Economic Development Advisory Board, to help staff formulate recommendations to the City Manager and City Council.
