Sustitución de la red de agua de Jefferson Place
PROJECT UPDATE AUGUST 13, 2026
Phase 3 of the water main improvements on NW Adams Place is progressing well, with installation of the new water main now complete. Over the next several days, water service will be transferred from the temporary system to the new water main.
Paving of Adams Place is scheduled for late agosto and is expected to take one to two days. Residents will receive door hanger notifications at least 24 hours before paving operations begin. Paving will require a full closure of Adams Place, and on-street parking will not be permitted during construction activities.
The project’s fourth and final phase will then advance west along NW Delaware Avenue to the alley intersection between NW Shasta Place and NW Jefferson Place. Work in this area will include water main installation, service connections and roadway restoration.
The project remains on schedule to be completed by the end of septiembre 2026. Thank you for your continued patience as we complete these important infrastructure improvements.
El proyecto de sustitución de la red de abastecimiento de agua de Jefferson Place sustituirá y modernizará las tuberías de agua obsoletas y de calibre insuficiente que necesitan reparación para abastecer a esta zona tanto en la actualidad como en el futuro. Estas tuberías son, en general, de calibre insuficiente para una zona en crecimiento y deben adaptarse a las normas vigentes. El proyecto:
- Sustituya las tuberías de agua viejas antes de que se estropeen
- Actualizar las tuberías para que cumplan con la normativa vigente
- Garantizar un servicio de agua fiable durante décadas
Ubicación
Las obras se llevarán a cabo a lo largo de la avenida Delaware NW, entre Shasta Place NW y NW BcarreteraCalle Y, junto a Adams Place al sur de Delaware y por el callejón entre Shasta Place y Jefferson Place.

Qué esperar durante la construcción
Se prevén cierres parciales a lo largo de todo el periodo de obras. Durante el día, las obras pueden limitar temporalmente el acceso a las calles y callejones cercanos.
Financiación
Este proyecto se financia con las tarifas de los servicios de agua en el marco del Programa de Reparación y Sustitución de Infraestructuras Hidráulicas.
